"The subsidies announced by the Aam Aadmi Party government in the past few months will continue for another five years. Our subsidies will give more benefits to the people as they will go on for 60 months," it said.

The manifesto said the monthly pension for the widows of the 1984 anti-sikh riots will be increased to Rs 3,500 from Rs 2,500.

"We are committed to ensuring justice for the victims of 1984 riots. For this, all recommendations of the SIT appointed by the Supreme Court would be implemented and fast-track courts would be constituted."

The SIT has observed that trials were held in an illegal manner. "All cases would be examined for such issues and suitable action would be taken."

The BJP said jobs will be given to one child of the victims who lost earning family members during the 1984 riots.

It said that the BJP will draft a new policy for the social and economic empowerment of transgenders. "We will ensure issuance of proper identification documents for transgender."

The people from northeast India settled in Delhi also find space in the BJP manifesto, where the party said a 24-hour helpline would be set up.

"Safety and security of residents belonging to North Eastern states will be ensured through a 24-hour helpline with permanent arrangements for coordination with police stations."

The party also promised to set up special hostels for men and women from North Eastern states.
