CAA & NRC disappears from Google search

The protests over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the NRC has intensified across the country as several politicians, student leaders and activists accompanied lakhs to voice their dissent to the government's move. These laws by the central government were conducting a massive search on Google as it became the subject of public interest. 

However, yesterday, both controversial topics suddenly disappeared from Google search. The reason being that yesterday was the result of Jharkhand Assembly elections. The exit poll, predicted two days ago that BJP will face defeat. This led to catching the attention of the entire country twoards Jharkhand election results. Significantly, in 2014, the BJP had started winning the Jharkhand elections and started to climb upwards. However in yesterday's declared result The BJP faced defeat in Jharkhand. 

Whereas the Congress seemed to have lost some of it's enthusiasm. The last two phases were campaigned by Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Perhaps, BJP's defeat was due to public anger over the NRC and CAA. Due to this, the Jharkhand results were trending yesterday on Google. More than 2 million searches have been done on Google over Jharkhand elections in recent days.
