Coronavirus Alert! First death reported in Karnataka

Reports have emerged that a 76-year-old man suspected to be infected with coronavirus has died in Karnataka. The details of the deceased are yet to be revealed. 4 cases have been reported in Bengaluru the confirmed cases include the 47-year-old wife and 13-year-old daughter of Karnataka's first positive case, a 46-year-old software engineer from Dell. The girl is Karnataka's first paediatric case. Unlike the techie who had returned from the US, his wife and daughter had no travel history to any affected country. Earlier one of the farmers from Karnataka burned 6,000 chickens alive amidst the rising spread of the deadly virus in the state. 

The global death toll from the new coronavirus has passed 4,000 and the outbreak has spread to over 100 countries. Meanwhile, India’s count of coronavirus cases rose by 18 to 62 on Tuesday with eight testing positive from Kerala, five from Maharashtra, four from Karnataka and one from J&K. Meanwhile, 52 people have arrived from Italy at Cochin airport of these, 35 have been shifted to Aluva District Hospital, including two children and two pregnant women. Ten people, who had fever and wheezing, were shifted to the isolation ward of Kalamassery Medical college. All samples were collected for inspection. Apart from Ernakulam Medical college, more facilities are being set up at Aluva, Muvattupuzha, Karuvelipady Government Hospitals, Thripunithura Ayurveda Medical College and airport.
