Fact Check: Modi govt to give free internet to 100 million users for 3 months?

Lockdown in many parts of states in the country has been announced to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Social media is being used extensively in lockdowns. But in the meantime, many messages are being rapidly circulated on the social media platform.

It is very important to check the authenticity of a viral message before sending it to others. Meanwhile, a message on Whatsapp is being circulated claiming that the Indian government is providing free internet to 100 million users for 3 months.

Press Information Bureau (PIB) conducted a fact check on the message and said that the claim is FALSE.
