Six Indo-Tibetan Border Police were killed and three others were left injured in an exchange of fire among themselves in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district.

ITBP Jawan kills five colleagues and later commits suicide

Six Indo-Tibetan Border Police  were killed and three others were left injured in an exchange of fire among themselves in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district. The incident took place at the Kadenar Camp of ITBP's 45th battalion. According to reports, one of the jawans allegedly fired at his colleagues with his service weapon, killing four of them and injuring three others. The injured personnel were being shifted to the hospital. The incident took place around 9:30 am.

According to officials, According to officials, constable Masudul Rahman who belonged to Nadia in West Bengal fired and killed constable Mahendra Singh, head constable Daljit Singh, constable Surjit Sarkar, Biswaroop Mahtoo, and Bijeesh. Chattisgarh Director General of Police DM Awasthi has confirmed that there was a dispute among the jawans. Post which one of them opened fired from his rifle on his colleagues.
