Jyotiraditya Scindia removes 'BJP' from Twitter bio

BJP Leader and former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday changed his Twitter profile and removed Bhartiya Janata Party from it. His new profile declares,"Public servant, cricket enthusiast."

There has been discussions that Jyotiraditya Scindia’s long silence after he switched from the Congress to the BJP three months ago has fuelled speculation that he is upset over neglect in the party which took his help to topple the 15-month old Kamal Nath government.

Also two of Jyotiraditya Scindia loyalists on Friday have returned to Congress, saying they 'felt suffocated in the BJP'. “Congress leaders who switch over to the BJP return as they feel disillusioned there. The BJP just uses leaders and throws them away,” said Shobha Oza, senior Congress leader. 

Jyotiraditya Scindia was in the Congress for the last 18 years. However, he joined the BJP on the day of Holi. As per speculations, BJP is not willing to honour the commitment that it had made to the Scindia for helping the party topple the Kamal Nath government. While Scindia reportedly wants to see ten of his loyalists in the ministry.
