Sonali Phogat’s house robbed valuables including gold and Rs.10 lakh cash stolen

Sonali Phogat, who was last seen in reality show Bigg Boss 14, has reported theft of valuables including gold and Rs 10 lakh cash from her house in Hisar, Haryana. The licensed revolver she possessed has also been stolen. Sonali Phogat, in her police complaint, alleged that she was in Chandigarh when the house was burgled on February 9.It was only when she returned on February 15 that she found the locks broken, according to police. Gold and silverware, a silver pot, Rs 10 lakh cash, jewellery, a, 22 bore licensed pistol and eight cartridges were found missing from the house, they told PTI.

While there were CCTV cameras in the house, the digital video recorder (DVR) that contained footage was taken away by the thieves, police said. HTM Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhjit said that the theft case is being probed. Sonali Phogat, who is a BJP leader, grabbed headlines during her stay in Bigg Boss 14 after she confessed her feelings for Aly Goni and turned against Rubina Dilaik for not being the good-natured woman. On the show, Sonali's personal life also came into the limelight. Ms Phogat had unsuccessfully contested the 2019 assembly polls from the Adampur seat against Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of former Haryana chief minister, late Bhajan Lal.
