After the encounter, Cyberabad Police Commissioner of Telangana V. Sajjnar told the press conference that the law has done its job. He said that 10 policemen had gone for a reconstruction at the place of incident. The young veterinarian's mobile was hidden by these people which had to be searched and to collect scientific evidence from the place of incident. He said that 2 out of 4 criminals snatched the police pistol and opened fire on the policemen in which a policeman was shot in the head. His condition is quite critical. The police had warned before the encounter but those people kept firing. 

Telangana police said that we investigated the entire incident in a scientific manner. After investigation, we arrested four people and kept the matter in court. The court sent them to jail for 10 days. On 4 and 5 December, we interrogated them in jail. This morning, two criminals, Arif and Chintakuta respectively, threw stones and shot at the police by snatching pistol when they came to find the victim's mobile where the incident took place. The police also asked them to surrender but they did not agree. 2 policemen are injured in the encounter. A policeman is shot in the head. His condition remains critical. Telangana police told in its press conference that the encounter took place between 5:45 and 6:15 in the morning. 10 policemen were present at the encounter. An SI and a constable have been injured.

On the notice of the NHRC, Cyberabad Police Commissioner BC Sajjanar has said in this press conference that we will answer the questions of the NHRC.

Significantly, on November 28, these four accused, whose age was between 20 and 26 years, saw the female doctor parked at the toll booth at Scooty Park. It is alleged that these people deliberately punched her. After this, taking him to a deserted place on the pretext of helping, gangraped him and later put petrol and set him on fire. According to the police, these people had also drunk alcohol before the incident. After this incident of rape and murder, there was anger all over the country and a Fast Track Court was set up to hear the matter.
