Unlock 4: What's likely to be allowed from September 1

Metro Services

Metro services across the country are likely to resume from September as per a Hinduatan Times report. The report said that the metro services may be given permission to run in first 15 days of Unlock-4. It was further mentioned that, the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been set in place. Only 50 people will be allowed to enter one coach as precautionary measure. 

Educational Institutions

Educational institutions have remained shut for the past five months. A decision on whether or not to open educational institutions is likely to be taken on September 1.Guidelines on the same would be issued by the end of this month. There is however no confirmation on whether the schools would allowed to open or not.  It is being said that Centre will leave this decision up to the respective state governments. It is believed that Centre will give a go-ahead to the states to reopen schools at the earliest.
 

International Flights

The Ministry of Home Affairs, under phase 3 of ‘Unlock‘ announced that International flights permitted In a limited manner under Vande Bharat Mission. Domestic flights and Vande Bharat Mission repatriation flights will continue to operate. The normal services are unlikely to commence anytime soon. In coming few days, air bubble agreements with more countries will be signed widening the scope of international flights.
 

Cinema Halls

After opening restaurants, gyms and malls – cinema halls are likely to make it to list in the next phase of 'unlock' guidelines, slated to be issued by August-end.  Reportedly, opening up of cinema halls was proposed during the Unlock 3.0 guidelines. All the cinema halls across the country have been closed since March 24 when the central government imposed nationwide lockdown in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.The opening up of cinema halls are eagerly awaited by Bollywood celebs who awaiting the release of their films.
