Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has termed Indian Premier League (IPL) for the chaos in world cricket especially in Pakistan.

In an exclusive interview in ‘Off The Record’ with Kashif Abbasi, Ramiz touched upon various perspectives after New Zealand and England canceled their tours of Pakistan.

Ramiz said that Australians have changed their approach while playing against India. “Australians have changed their DNA because of money, they play against India happily and without aggressive approach,” he said.

“International cricketers have pressure as now they want to save their IPL contracts,” he added.

“New Zealand ran away and England followed the same suit. They both have done wrong against us,” he added.

Meanwhile, Ramiz termed Prime Minister Imran Khan’s meeting with the players today as ‘ a great pep’ talk ahead of the T20 World Cup.

A number of high profile Aussie players are part of the IPL including the likes of Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, and David Warner.

The Sri Lankan international cricket team, which was on a tour of Pakistan in 2009, was attacked in Lahore. International cricket was then banned in Pakistan. Since then teams have been apprehensive playing in Pakistan.

It was followed by Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and South Africa. But many other countries are still avoiding Pakistan tour. As a result, Pakistan's cricket world is in turmoil.

Rameez Raja has also said that he will raise the issue of the tour canceled by New Zealand and England with the ICC. He also said he would seek compensation from New Zealand.
