Cricket matches between India and Pakistan have many interesting stories and cricket fans want to hear them again and again.

One of them was between former India opener Virender Sehwag and Shoaib Akhtar.

16 years ago when Veeru scored 309 against Pakistan in the Multan Test. He became the first Indian batsman to score three centuries in a Test.

Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar were batting while Viru, who was on strike, was repeatedly bounced by former Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar.

Viru then asked him to throw a bouncer to Tendulkar who was standing on nonstrike. Viru had said to Akhtar, "There is a father in front."

Akhtar has claimed that nothing like this has happened. "Sehwag is telling a lie to the world," Akhtar said.

He went on to say, "Someone will talk to me like this and I will leave him like that, will it happen?" When I asked Viru about it, he told me that he did not say anything like that. Gautam Gambhir was also there then.

In the same match, Akhtar was repeatedly telling Viru to hit a four. Veeru had asked, "Are you bowling or are you begging?"

Akhtar said nothing like that had happened. Akhtar made this claim while chatting on the Hello app.
