Bollywood Actresses who have done B-grade films

Katrina Kaif marked her Bollywood debut with B-grade movie Boom which was produced by Ayesha and Jackie Shroff.

Manisha Koirala worked with some of the biggest stars in Bollywood and was one of the most beautiful actresses of the 90s. However, she starred in a controversial B grade film like “A Little Love Story” which was shrouded in controversy for its bold scenes.

Neha Dhupia had a grand debut in Bollywood but then she acted in B - grade movies like Sheesha.

Khalaas Girl Isha Koppikar appeared in several films with A-lister's but she could not make a career in Bollywood after which she starred in a B grade film “Hasina Smart, Sexy, Dangerous”.

Payal Rohtagi worked in a B-grade film which was known for its steamy scenes with actor Sameer Kocchar.

Archana Puran Singh has worked in a number of B-grade films during the course of her career.

Meghna Naidu who could not make it big in her Bollywood career, worked in B-grade films like Hawas and Classic-Dance of Love which were box-office failures.

Preeti Jhangiani made a debut in Bollywood with Yash Raj Films’ superhit film “Mohabbatein”. In the film she appeared with Jimmy Shergill her character was greatly appreciated, but he did not get any special work in Bollywood. After this he appeared in B-grade film like “Hasina Smart, Sexy, Dangerous”.

South sensation Silk Smitha acted in many movies most of them being B-grade films. She later committed suicide due to lack of money, addiction and depression.

Mamta Kulkarni has many hits like “Karan Arjun”, “Krantivir”. Later, she appeared in Ashok Kumar’s directed film Mamta “Devin Temple Khajuraho”. In this film, Sadhika and Mink Singh played a lead role with him. In this, Mamta was seen doing many bold and hot scenes.

Nagma, who worked in South films, debuted in Bollywood with “Baaghi: A Rebel for Love” with Salman. The film was a hit at the box office. After this, Nagma worked with many top actors and production houses, but later she went to South films. Nagma appeared in several B-grade Bhojpuri films as well.
