‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’ (1993): This Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer was one of the costliest films of its time. The film, however, sank without a trace at the box office.

‘Raju Chacha’ (2000): This Ajay Devgan’s home production was made at ₹25 crore but its box office collection was only ₹8.5 crore.

‘Asoka’ (2001): This Shah Rukh Khan starrer was made at a budget of ₹14 crore, which was huge at that time. This Santosh Sivan directed film’s net collection was just ₹10 crore.

‘Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag’ (2007): This remake of the all-time hit "Sholay" was directed by Ram Gopal Verma. It had a huge star cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Mohanlal, Sushmita Sen, etc. Aag is one of the biggest flops of Bollywood.

‘Saawariya’ (2007): Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Saawariya" was the debut movie of both Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. The film’s production cost was ₹40 crore and it earned only ₹36 crore.

‘Yuvvraj’ (2008): Directed by Subhash Ghai, "Yuvvraj" had Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead role. This film’s budget was ₹50 crore but it bombed at the box office, earning only ₹16 crore.

‘Love Story 2050’ (2008): "Love Story 2050" was a science fiction love story starring Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja in the lead role. Made with a budget of ₹60 crore, the film earned only around ₹25 crore.

‘Chandni Chowk To China’ (2009): Starring Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the lead role, "Chandni Chowk To China" was made at a big budget of ₹80 crore but it grossed only ₹55 crore.

‘Kites’ (2010): Directed by Anurag Basu, "Kites" had Hrithik Roshan in the lead. The production cost of this film was ₹60 crore but it collected only ₹49 crore.

‘Guzaarish’ (2010): Made at a cost of ₹50 crore, this Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer collected only ₹29 crore.

‘Ra.One’ (2011): Starring Shah Rukh Khan as a superhero, "Ra.One" also had Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in important roles. The production cost of this film was ₹130 crore but it grossed only ₹114 crore at the box office.

‘Besharam’ (2013)This Ranbir Kapoor starrer enjoyed a strong first day opening but the film failed to impress the audience. The production cost of "Besharam" was ₹75 crore but it earned only ₹59.8 crore.

‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ (2015): Yash Raj Films' "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy" starred Sushant Singh Rajput in the titular role. The film received a good pre-release buzz but it failed at the box office earning just ₹26 crore.

‘Bombay Velvet’ (2015): Directed by Anurag Kashyap, "Bombay Velvet" had Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles. Made with a budget of ₹120 crore, this film earned just ₹31 crore.

'Tubelight' (2017): This film minted around ₹119 crores and was made under the budget of ₹135 crores.

'Thugs Of Hindostan' (2018): "TOH" is one of the biggest flops of Indian cinema. This YRF film just made around ₹151 crores and was made under the budget of ₹250 crores.

'Zero' (2018): "Zero" is regarded as the most expensive film by SRK till date. This film minted around ₹90 crores and was made under the whopping budget of ₹200 crores.
