Dilip Kumar Death : When Dilip Kumar confessed his love for Madhubala in courtroom

Dilip Kumar breathed his last on Wednesday morning due to age-related illness. He was 98. He died at the private Hinduja Hospital where he had been admitted for certain breathing issues.

Dilip Kumar's love for Madhubala is still remembered.

The love couple was together for a long time until they parted ways after Dilip Kumar married Saira Banu.

Dilip Kumar had once declared his love to Madhubala in a courtroom.

It was during the 1957 film 'Naya Daur' which was supposed to star Dilip Kumar and Madhubala.

However, Madhubala's father didn't allow the actress to act in the film as she had to go for an outdoor shoot.

The director of the film later replaced Madhubala with Vyjayanthimala, However, Madhubala’s father threatened to take the director to court for dropping his daughter from the film.

Later the director counter-sued Madhubala and her father. The matter then went to court and Dilip Kumar agreed to testify against Madhubala.

It was during the same testimony, Dilip Kumar declared his love for Madhubala. The couple were together for seven years but ended their relationship abruptly.

It was rumoured that Madhubala’s father didn’t want her to get married to Dilip Kumar as she was the sole earning member of the family.

The 'Mughal-E-Azam' co-actors had ended their relationship while the shooting of the film was still going on.

It was reported that both the actors only talked to each other while delivering dialogues post their break-up.
