Through his versatile acting, Arshad Warsi has made a different identity for himself in Bollywood. The actor who has a huge fan following today became a household name after his character Circuit in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. An established actor, producer, and dancer, Arshad did not have it all easy. Born in Mumbai, the actor lost his parents at an early age and struggled to survive during his growing up the years.

Arshad who is most loved for his onscreen character Circuit from Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. had to leave his school after the tenth standard because of poor financial situation which also made him start working early at the age of 18. Arshad worked as a salesman visiting door to door to earn a living.

While working as a salesman, Warsi developed keen interest in dancing and received an offer to join the dance academy of the renowned choreographer and musician Akbar Sami.

Dance played cupid in Arshad and Maria's love story and after dating for eight long years the couple got married in 1999 on Valentine's Day! As Arshad being a Muslim and Maria a Christian, they both had a church wedding as well as a nikaah ceremony. The couple is proud parents of two kids - a boy and a girl.

In 1992, the gifted dancer represented India in modern jazz at the World Dance Championship and went on to secure the fourth spot! After becoming the runners up, the 51-year-old opened his own dancing studio called "Troupe" and it was there only where he met the love of his life Maria Goretti.

He was initially associated with a Mumbai based English theatre group. Many don't know this but Arshad also served as an assistant director to Mahesh Bhatt's movie Kaash! Arshad has also choreographed the title track of the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.

Arshad got his first acting offer in a lead role from Amitabh Bachchan's production company and the movie was Tere Mere Sapne. He further did movies like Betaabi, Hero Hindustani, Trishakti and more but largely went unnoticed.

Despite making us laugh in movies like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Dhamaal and Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, Warsi consider himself a serious actor than a comic one.

The actor has many successful hits such as Golmaal and its sequel, Hulchul, F.A.L.T.U, Jolly LLB, Dhamaal and its sequel, Ishqiya, and many more.
