The most talented Bollywood actress she is known for her bold onscreen personality she ruled the 2000's era with her hotness. The girl who came from a conservative family of Haryana Mallika Sherawat proved that hard work can make you a star even if you don't come from a big family.

Sherawat was born on 24 October 1976 as Reema Lamba in Moth, a small village in Hisar district of Haryana to a Jat family. She adopted the screen name of "Mallika" She has stated that she uses her mother's maiden name because of the support that her mother has provided her.

Sherawat started her career in television commercials with Amitabh Bachchan for BPL and Shah Rukh Khan for Santro. She also appeared in Nirmal Pandey's "Maar Dala" and Surjit Bindrakhia's "Lak Tunoo" music video.

She debuted in films with a small role in Jeena Sirf Merre Liye where she was credited as Reema Lamba.

Her name and popularity has risen when she appeared in films like Murder and Khwahish her bold look onscreen has driven her fans crazy she was not only recognized by Bollywood but the Hollywood industry also praised her.

She is amongst very few actors who worked in Hollywood she worked in Unfaithful the Hollywood movie. Sherawat also acted in The Myth, a Chinese film, co-starring Jackie Chan.

Her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival to promote the film secured a lot of attention, with Time magazine's Richard Corliss calling her "the next big thing."

During her brief stint as an air hostess, Sherawat married Delhi-based pilot Karan Singh Gill in 1997. She later divorced him. She dated French real estate agent Cyrille Auxenfans in 2017. She has one son now.

But with a lot of popularity, she faced a lot of problems in the film industry in her early interview she told “I haven’t faced it directly... My rise to stardom, I was very lucky, it was very easy. I came to Mumbai, I got Khwahish and Murder. I didn’t have to struggle much. But after the movies, because Murder was such a bold movie, and that kind of a bold image was established, a lot of male actors started taking a lot of liberties with me, and they said if you can be so bold onscreen, so you can be bold with us in person also."
