It is crucial to boost our immune system, as it protects our body from harmful substances, germs, and cell changes that could make a person sick For this, the World Health Organization (WHO) has given guidance on what to eat to avoid getting infected by corona.

To avoid getting infected corona, your diet should include fresh fruits, unprocessed foods so that you get the vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein and antioxidants you need.

Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, pulses, soybeans, peanuts, corn, millet, oats, wheat, brown rice, potatoes, churn, and Arabica. Include meat, fish, eggs and milk in the diet.

Eat at least 2 fruits, 2.5 vegetables, 180 grams of grains and 160 grams of meat and beans daily. You can eat mutton 1-2 times a week and chicken 2-3 times a week. Eat raw vegetables and fresh fruits in the evening after getting hungry. Do not overcook vegetables, otherwise they will run out of essential nutrients. If you buy canned fruits or vegetables, make sure they are not high in salt and sugar.

Water is very important for the body. It distributes nutrients to the blood, regulates body temperature and removes toxins from the body. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily. Apart from water, you can also drink fruit juice and lemon water. Reduce the amount of soft drinks, cold drinks, soda and coffee.

The corona spreads rapidly by coming in contact with each other. To avoid this, eat at home instead of going out. By the way, many states have now banned dine-in at restaurants. But people can order food from outside and they can eat at home.

Avoid sugar, fat-producing foods and high salt intake to prevent obesity, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and some types of cancer. Do not eat more than 1 teaspoon of salt in a day.

Stay away from trans fat as much as possible. Processed foods, fast food, snack foods, fried foods, frozen pizzas, cookies and cream contain trans fats. Any other disease increases the chances of getting coronavirus. So keep yourself completely healthy.

Nutritious food and proper hydration can improve health and immunity, but then there is no magic. People who are already ill or who have had corona need to take care of their mental health as well. If you are not feeling well, consult a psychiatrist.

Instead of fatty fish, butter, coconut oil, cream, cheese and ghee, include in your dite avocado, nuts, olive oil, soy, canola, sunflower and corn oil. Eat white meat and fish instead of red meat because they are low in fat. Never eat processed meat.
