Corona patients are still rising in Europe even the vaccination camping doesn't do much in Europe but meanwhile to reduce the effect of corona in the new pill has been launched, this pill is called Molnupiravir.

The pill has been developed by leading pharma company Merck. The British government also has approved the use of this pill on patients. The Corona epidemic has killed more than 50 million people worldwide so far. The fear of the corona is not yet completely over.

But no one can claim that the vaccine is 100 percent effective as new variants of the corona are constantly coming. In such cases, people may develop corona even after vaccination.

It is the first effective pill available to fight corona, the Merck company claims. Merck has partnered with American company Ridgeback Biotherapeutics to develop the drug. Also, the company claims that the tablet is in the third phase of testing.

The company said 775 people were involved in the test. According to preliminary data, patients who took the drug within 5 days after infection with Covid-19 had a 50 percent reduced risk of hospitalization and death.

The company detailed the test, saying that only 7.3 percent of patients who took Molnupiravir either had to be hospitalized or died, compared to 14.1 percent of corona patients who were given a dummy pill.

This drug removes the blockages in your body's RNA system. Because of this RNA system, the virus grows automatically once it enters your body. In this way, the pill stops the virus from growing in the body.

The pill is also called Lagevrio, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration of England. The Drug Regulatory Authority has approved the use of corona in the country.

The pill can also be given to patients with diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and other diseases if they have coronary heart disease, according to the Drug Control Board of England. It does not affect people suffering from such diseases.

The drug regulator in India has not yet made a decision on the use of the drug. In such a situation, it cannot be used in India at present. According to Merck, the pill is being mass-produced and by the end of this year, 1 of the pills will be available.
