Sunlight is very important for humans. Life cannot be imagined without sunlight. But, there is a village on earth where people are afraid to go out in the sun. While hard to believe, this is true. Araras in Sao Paulo, Brazil people are afraid to go out in sun.

The people of Araras village are suffering from a rare disease. The disease is called Xeroderma Pigmentosum. In this disease, the skin gets burnt due to sun exposure. The disease affects only 3 percent of millions of people.

Most of the people in this village have Zoroderma Pigmentosum disease. In this disease, the skin of the sick person becomes red and dry due to the sun. In addition, the extreme heat makes the skin look ugly like molten plastic.

According to the report, the population of Araras village is around 1 lakh 36 thousand. More than 600 people here suffer from this disease. This disease is making life difficult for the citizens here. Heredity is the biggest reason behind this disease.

People here have been suffering from this disease for the last several years. Initially, there were various superstitions about this disease. But, now people here are slowly becoming aware of this disease. People have become aware of this disease and children have its initial luck.
