The most effective weapon so far to combat corona is the vaccine. Apart from India, China also supplied its corona vaccine to many countries. Not only that, in some countries the vaccine was given only through a Chinese vaccine manufactured by Synovac Biotech Limited.

The effect is evident in China's custom data. China exported सी 2.48 billion worth of vaccines in July. However, it fell 21 per cent to 1. 1.96 billion in August.

The vaccine, developed by Pfizer and Moderna, used to be given only in rich countries. However, exports of these vaccines have now gradually increased in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Nicholas Thomas, a professor at the University of Hong Kong who has edited several books on foreign policy and public health, said: Now they too know the difference in vaccines.

Clinical trials have shown that Chinese-made vaccines are 50 to 80 percent effective. But it lags far behind mRNA vaccines to protect against corona. At the same time, after the rapidly expanding delta type, the question mark on the effectiveness of the Chinese vaccine itself.

Thailand was the first country in the country to announce a dose of AstraZeneca for people who had taken both doses of the Synovac vaccine. Not only that, but many researches have found that American or European vaccines are more effective than Chinese vaccines.

Citizens in Thailand also began protesting against Chinese vaccines. Since then, the Thai government has rescinded Synovac's order and begun buying vaccines manufactured by Western countries.

With US President Joe Biden announcing 1.1 billion doses of mRNA vaccine, millions of doses from Europe, governments in many countries have now turned their backs on Chinese vaccines. India will also start exporting AstraZeneca vaccine from next month.
