Sex at home with someone who you don't live with is now illegal, thanks to new lockdown rules in the United Kingdom.

Many had thought, the easing of lockdown restrictions would have enabled couples living apart to reunite. But now those hopes have been quashed after it emerged meeting somebody inside a home was still very much against the rules.

You cannot visit friends and family inside their homes or stay overnight, but you can meet one other person from a different household outdoors - as long as you continue to follow social distancing guidelines. However, the government has specifically banned gatherings inside other households.

The legislation only allows gatherings in another person's household if they have a 'reasonable excuse', reports the Mirror. Reasonable excuses include being a sports professional, attending funerals, vulnerable persons fleeing a risk of violence, carers, and those with unavoidable work commitments.

They can use toilet facilities - as long as surfaces are thoroughly cleaned before and after and access gardens via the home. Hotels remain closed in England and overnight stays are still prohibited.

One Cambridgeshire couple were caught breaking lockdown rules when they were spotted having a raunchy rendezvouz last week. The couple were chased off by a shocked resident with the man pulling his trousers back up as he ran away.
