Heavy rains lashed many places including Dadar, Matunga, Worli, Lalbagh, Sion, Kurla and Andheri.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had on Thursday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Mumbai and its surrounding areas.
