As the number of Covid patients is declining in Maharashtra, the government is considering relaxing the strict restrictions in the state. According to sources, the state is planning to start the unlock process in phases. If the plan is successful, Maharashtra will move towards unlock from June 1

As in the past, the government is taking steps after considering everything carefully. There is no official word yet on the unlock. But there are many options for unlocking. Which the government will soon take action on.

In the last few days, the number of new patients in Mumbai has come down to 1,500. The recovery rate is 93 percent. At this time, the crisis of corona in Mumbai seems to be decreasing. As a result, people's expectations have increased. The state government is expected to offer some relief in the lockdown after June 1.

Out of 24 wards in Mumbai, only 10 wards now have containment zones. 14 wards have been cleared of containment zones. There is no micro containment zone in 7 wards. So there is no building seal in a ward. Mumbai now has 44 containment zones. In which 2.33 lakh people live.

2,747 containment zones have been removed as corona patient recovery increased. According to sources, the unlock will start in Maharashtra in four phases. In the first and second stages, a decision can be made about the shops. Due to the monsoon, the government is seriously considering this.

Maintenance and monsoon related shops may be allowed to open before the monsoon. At the same time, the state government may extend the time limit for opening shops in the state. At present, many shops are allowed to open from 7 am to 11 am on Mondays to Fridays.

According to sources, the state government may allow shops to keep groceries and monsoon related shops open from 9 am to 5 pm. Guidelines will be issued along with the permission to open the shop. Which will have measures taken to prevent corona infection.

In the third phase, the state government may allow the opening of restaurants, bars and wine shops. SOP can be implemented here by adhering to social distance. The decision may include how much capacity the restaurant should have.

In the fourth phase, the government may allow the opening of local train services and places of worship. But the Chief Minister has said that the government will think 10 times while unlocking. "We have learned a lesson from the first wave, so we can't say anything about lifting restrictions," Thackeray said.

Meanwhile, not everyone can be allowed to travel by local train for the next 15 days. It is feared that the crowd will increase if the locals start. Therefore, the government will not allow it, said Minister Vijay Waddetiwar.

Merchants have suffered a lot as shops have been closed in the state for the past few days. Therefore, the shopkeepers are confident that the state government can take a positive decision regarding the opening of shops from June 1. If all goes well, all restrictions on the rest can be removed in the fourth stage.
