Harish Salve gets married for the second time at the age of 65 to London-based artist Caroline Brossard

Senior Advocate Harish Salve married London-based artist Caroline Brossard in a private ceremony on Wednesday.

The 65-year-old advocate married Caroline Brossard (56) in a church ceremony in London with only 15 guests including the couple's close friends and family members in attendance.

On the big day, while the high-profile opted for a three-piece suit, Caroline Brossard was dressed in an elegant white wedding gown.

Born in Maharashtra in 1955, Harish Salve is a senior advocate who practices at the Supreme Court of India. In January, Salve was appointed as a Queen's Counsel for the courts of England and Wales.

Salve, in fact, also served as the Solicitor General of India from November 1, 1999 to November 3, 2002.

Harish Salve represented India before the International Court of Justice in the Kulbhushan Jadhav case in May 2017. The Tata Group and ITC Limited are some of his clients while he also represents Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries Limited.

Harish Salve divorced his wife Meenakshi of 38 years in June 2020. With Meenakshi, Harish Salve has two daughters - Sakshi and Saaniya.

Salve was baptised two years back. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Salve said he has been going to church for these two years.

Caroline Brossard, 56, is an artist based in London. She has an 18-year-old daughter from her first marriage.

Harish Salve met Caroline Brossard at an art event. Salve and Caroline are both passionate about theatre, classical music as well as art.
