The eagerly awaited moment of the countrymen has finally come. Ram Janma Bhoomi Pujan will be held on Wednesday. Although the magnificence of the moment may seem a bit lacking due to the corona virus crisis, there is no lack of enthusiasm. The city of Ayodhya has been decorated for this historic moment.

Preparations for Bhumi Pujan of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya are in full swing. Bhumi Pujan of the temple will be held on August 5 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

200 people have been invited for Bhumi Pujan.

According to Trust members, the bhumi pujan will take place on 'Abhijit Muhurta' at 12.15 pm on August 5, which is the most auspicious time to lay the foundation stone of Ram Mandir.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra has invited 175 guests for the foundation stone-laying ceremony. These include 135 seers belonging to as many spiritual traditions.

The invitation list for the ceremony has been prepared only after discussions with BJP veterans L K Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, lawyer K Parasaran and other dignitaries, the trust’s general secretary, Champat Rai, said on Monday.

Sadhus from Tamil Nadu have brought two bricks made of gold and silver, with ‘Shri Ram’ in Tamil etched on them, which will be donated to Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust.

The gold brick weighs 5 kg and the silver one weighs 20 kg.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Ayodhya on Wednesday for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ram temple. He will spend three hours in the city during which he will also visit the Hanuman Garhi temple or Lord Hanuman.

The Ram Mandir's 'bhoomi pujan' is being called into question almost every day by opposition leaders, with some questioning its timing amid coronavirus pandemic.

However, the temple authorities have hit out at detractors and remain adamant to hold the ceremony on the scheduled date.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will personally monitor developments on August 5 in Ayodhya.

The entire city will be decorated while the 12 'dwars' of the city will be decorated with lightsabers.

Big screens will be placed in several important paces in the city for the live telecast of the event.

More than 4,000 individuals will be assigned just to clean the city in three days.

A 268-guest list has been trimmed down to 200 people by temple authorities.

The ground-breaking ceremony of the temple is scheduled to begin from 11 am and is likely to be attended by over 200 high-profile guests, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Images of Lord Ram and 3D portraits of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be shown across the giant billboards in the iconic Times Square to celebrate the temple’s groundbreaking ceremony.

The organizers have scheduled program starting from 7.30 pm to 9:30 pm on August 5. The program includes diya lighting and bhajans program, speeches by eminent personalities and sweet distribution.

Earlier, Prominent community leader and President of the American India Public Affairs Committee Jagdish Sewhani said that arrangements are being made to celebrate the historic moment in New York.

As the much-awaited Ram temples Bhoomi pujan in just a day away, the Indians based in the US are indulged in planning programs to mark the auspicious occasion on August 5.

The grand temple is expected to be about 270-280 feet wide, 280-300 feet long and 128 feet high.

As preparations are in full swing, the city will witness Diwali like celebrations to mark the construction of the Ram Temple.

As devotees are excited ahead of the foundation stone laying ceremony, soil, holy water from across the country have reached Ayodhya to be used in Ram Mandir rituals on groundbreaking day.

175 eminent guests have been invited for the Bhumi Pujan of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. PM Modi, Mohan Bhagwat, Nritya Gopaldas Maharaj, Governor Anandiben Patel, and CM Yogi Adityanath will be present on stage.

All the attendees are requested to reach at least two hours prior to the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The Bhoomi Pujan ceremony will conclude by 2 pm.
