The Janata Express left Chheoki Junction in Prayagraj division at 7:43 am on Thursday to move towards Mumbai. Shivam Singh and Anshu Singh were traveling in a B2 coach from Chunar, Mirzapur. They were accompanied by their one-year-old son Chunar Hasu. They were heading towards Mumbai.

Shivam Singh works as a security guard in Mumbai. He had come home because of the lockdown. Now he was going back to Mumbai. But during the journey, their son was crying continuously.
