State Bank of India has taken important steps for the security of its ATM cardholders. A new feature is provided. The decision is aimed at reducing the cybercrime of India's largest public sector bank.

SBI has launched a number of features to provide secure banking facilities to its customers. So that security can be taken care of along with financial needs. Billions of consumers will benefit greatly.

To make ATM transactions more secure, SBI has introduced OTP-based transactions (SBI ATM New Rule). With the use of this new system, customers will be able to withdraw money from ATMs only on the basis of OTP.

Customers will first get an OTP on their mobile phones. Based on which money can be withdrawn from ATMs. This will help prevent fraud. ATM cloning or other fraud will be avoided as there will be no cash transactions without OTP.

Withdrawals can be made only after inserting OTP on the mobile phone at the ATM. State Bank tweeted about it. The bank has said that protecting customers from fraud is its priority.

In 2020, SBI introduced OTP based ATM transaction system (SBI ATM new rules) with security in mind. The same system has been refreshed this time and more security measures have been taken.

Before withdrawing cash, an OTP will be sent to the customer's registered mobile number which will have to be verified at the ATM. If this OTP is not verified in the ATM, the money will not be withdrawn. So remember that your registered mobile is yours to withdraw cash.

This rule is only for SBI ATMs or debit cardholders. If anyone has another bank card and is withdrawing money from SBI ATM, OTP will not be required.

If anyone is an SBI cardholder but withdraws money from another bank's ATM, will not be able to avail themselves of the OTP facility. SBI card should be accompanied by SBI ATM. In this case, OTP based ATM transaction will take place.

A 4-digit OTP will be sent to the customer's mobile as soon as they go to the SBI ATM to withdraw money from the SBI card. After inserting the card in the ATM, a window will open in which the OTP has to be inserted. This will verify the OTP and withdraw money from the ATM. A Hindi way
