Inspirational story of MBBS doctor Priyanka Shukla who became IAS officer

Priyanka Shukla, an IAS officer from Chhattisgarh, is quite active on social media. She is working on field to create awareness about Coronavirus as well as on Twitter.

Priyanka Shukla is being praised by people on social media. Priyanka was an MBBS doctor before she became an IAS officer. An incident happened with her while she was a doctor which made her decide to become an IAS officer.

Priyanka Shukla, an IAS officer in the 2009 cadre, had obtained her MBBS degree from the renowned KGMU in Lucknow in 2006. After graduation, she started working in Lucknow

During her work, she reached a slum in Lucknow for checkup. There she saw a woman and her child drinking unhealthy water. Priyanka asked the woman, why are you drinking this water.

The woman replied, "Are you a collector?" that shocked Priyanka.

After hearing the woman's reply, Priyanka decided that she would become an IAS officer. For this, she started the preparation of UPsC. In 2009, Priyanka Shukla succeeded in her second attempt.

Priyanka Shukla is a talented officer. She writes poetry as well as dances. She is also a good singer and painter. She gives many pleasant shocks to the fans on social media with her artistic talents

Many people follow her on social media. She has more than 70,000 followers on Twitter alone.

Priyanka Shukla also won the Census Silver Medal for her outstanding performance during President Pranab Mukherjee's tenure in 2011. She also received an award from the President for her good work for the literacy campaign.
