Airtel prepaid plans to get expensive from November 26, base plan to start at Rs 99

Mobile service provider Bharti Airtel has announced a change in rates on its prepaid plans. Airtel has increased tariff rates on prepaid plans by 25 per cent. The new tariff rates announced by Airtel will be effective from November 26.

Airtel's 28-day prepaid plan will now start at Rs 99. This means an increase of 25 per cent in the plan. The company had scrapped the Rs 49 plan in July. Meanwhile, this plan does not come with SMS.

If you also want SMS, you will have to spend Rs 179 for Rs 149. The plan has been increased by 20 per cent. There was also a Rs 219 plan with these benefits and 1GB of data. It is now priced at Rs 265.

The price of Airtel's popular Rs 598 plan has also been increased. This plan comes with a validity of 84 days. It provides 1.5GB of data to daily users. Now you have to spend Rs 719 for this plan. 20 per cent on data top-up and other plan rates.

The new price of this prepaid plan will start from November 26. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio and Vodafone have not yet announced price hikes. However, it is said that these companies may soon raise the prices of their prepaid plans.
