The game PUBG was and still is a big craze among the youth in India among all age groups both big and small.

Last year, indian government had banned PUBG Mobile India in September 2020 and since then lakhs of PUBG lovers in India are eagerly waiting for the relaunch of the hugely popular battle royale game.

Now, it seems that the company which is behind PUBG Mobile is planning to relaunch the game soon in India as the company has posted a job listing for a new investment strategy analyst in India.

According to a report in LiveMInt, Krafton Inc posted the job listing on March 18.

The description provided in job listing says that the role of investment strategy analyst will be to help Krafton in analysing mergers and acquisitions, and take care of investment opportunities in India.

Earlier, it was announced by Krafton that it plans to invest around Rs 725 crores in India to support the local video game, Esports, entertainment, and IT industries in the country.

It is to be noted that PUBG Corp is a subsidiary of Krafton and the company owns the intellectual property rights of PUBG Mobile India.

In November, the company had revealed its plan to make a new game only for Indian market in order to circumvent the ban.

It may be recalled that PUBG Corp had taken away the IP rights from Tencent days after the Indian government banned PUBG due to privacy concerns.

The move was seen as an attempt by PUBG Copr to restart operations in India as soon as possible. The company also announced to set up an Indian subsidiary to “enhance communications and services” with players. PUBG Corp also inked a deal with Microsoft for its games to be hosted on Azure platform of Microsoft.
