MPL offers job to The Family Man Manoj Bajpayee after his social media post goes viral!

The Family Man Season 2, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Akkineni, and Priyamani, has released on Amazon Prime Video. To promote its Original series, the streaming giants had launched an engagement initiative with India Inc. and startups. Titled #TheFamilyManJobHunt, the campaign follows Srikant Tiwari’s (actor Manoj Bajpayee’s character in the series) quest for a new job. this unique influencer campaign follows Srikant Tiwari’s, played by Manoj Bajpayee, quest for a new job, with him being interviewed by business stalwarts like Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO of OYO Hotels & Homes, Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President of Xiaomi, Kabeer Biswas, CEO & Co-Founder of Dunzo and Ankur Warikoo, Co-founder of Nearbuy. The engagement initiative picks up from last season’s story-arc where Srikant has the uphill ‘ TASC’ of finding a decent desk job for himself, having quit TASC to spend time with his family.

However, it was Mobile Premier League (MPL), an online gaming platform's job offer which caught everyone's attention. MPL had got Inspector Daya from the cult show C.I.D to highlight The Family Man job hunt in a funny and entertaining way. With brands like MPL, OYO, responding to the call for job, Amazon Prime Video’s campaign,  a flurry of brands nd users hopped onto the moment with a fun round of memes and bizarre job opportunities.  The Family Man also stars  Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwantary, Shahab Ali, Vedant Sinha, and Mahek Thakur.  The second season marks the digital debut of popular south Indian actor Samantha Akkineni. Though her appearance in the trailer has generated some controversy, the makers stood by her and said that she “took an extreme risk to do this role.
