Viral Video! Elephant stuck in a trench rescued by Forest Department, video goes viral

A video of a wild elephant being rescued by forest department officials has gone viral on social media. An wild elephant was rescued from a trench with the help of JCB excavator in Karnataka’s Kodagu.

The elephant had tried to enter the coffee plantation after which he accidently fell into the trench. In the video one can see the elepant struggling to come out of the pit, it was screaming for help. The forest offcials were informed of the movement of the elephant and they immediately rushed to the spot and rescued with the help of excavator.

The video of the rescue has taken the internet by storm. In the clip, one can see the forest department officials using the excavator and gently pushing it up. The officials dug the trench and made a pathway after which the elephant managed to climb out the ditch safely. 

Shared on Twitter, the video has already received more than one million views and thousands of likes. 

While one user wrote, “Such a delight to watch. Love to whoever was behind this,” another said, “Awww so sweet..seemed like the elephant actually turned back to thank the crane”.  One user even wrote, “Made my day. Wow. Really god bless them”.
