Viral Video! Ganesh Chaturthi 2020: Youngsters from Solapur village create eco-friendly Ganesh portrait in a farm

A video has been circulationg on social media sites, ahead of the 10-day Hindu festival, a beautiful Ganesh artwork made using seasonal crops in a farm field is winning hearts. An aerial footage of the giant portrait of the Ganapati has delighted even actors and politicians, including Union Minister Smriti Irani, who retweeted the video.

The huge artwork, 200 ft in length and 100 ft in breadth, has been created by a group of youngsters in Bale village in Maharashtra’s Solapur.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a 10-day Hindu festival, celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the god of auspicious beginnings. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Ganesha is the younger son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

The festival is believed to remove all obstacles from human life and bring peace and prosperity.
