Woman bites off husband’s penis in anger after he fails to scare a rat

In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old woman allegedly bit off her 52-year-old husband’s penis after he refused to drive away a rat from her bedroom. The incident took place at the couple’s residence in Kitwe town of Zambia.The woman, identified as Mukupa, noticed the rodent in her bedroom when she returned home after having drinks with friends. She claimed that she was unable to sleep as the rat was pestering her by continuously moving in the room. 

Therefore, she asked her husband Abraham Musonda to drive it out of the room.A scuffle apparently ensued when he refused, with Mukupa managing to sink her teeth into his genitals, causing a 'major tear'. Bothwell Namuswa, Deputy Police Commissioner for Copperbelt Province, told the Zambian Observer the pair are essentially separated and live under the same roof in separate rooms. Mr Musonda was rushed to a Kitwe Teaching Hospital for urgent medical treatment following the incident.
