Now, in the second wave of corona, the number of corona patients in Dharavi are increasing. The majority of citizens in Dharavi are working as health and sanitation workers. In such situation, if everyone in Dharavi above the age of 18 is vaccinated against corona, Dharavi and Mumbai can be saved from a big crisis ", said Rahul Shewale.Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 60,212 fresh COVID-19 infections and 281 deaths, according to the State Health Department. Several districts in Maharashtra including the capital Mumbai are severely hit by the second wave of COVID infections. Mumbai reported 7,898 new cases and 26 deaths in the last 24 hours.
