Aurangabad, April 7:Concerns are being raised about the rising incidence of corona among young children in the city. However, symptoms are usually mild in 90 per cent of kids. But the Aurangabad pediatric association said that proper precautions need to be taken.The prevalence of corona is currently increasing rapidly in cities like Aurangabad, Pune, Mumbai and Nagpur. The doctors have noticed increased rates of covid infection in young children. Hence the pediatric association has raised the issue of corona in infants. The members said corona in young children does not become severe as 90 per cent of children have mild symptoms. Mostly they do need hospitalization. The disease in adults is complicated. Other physical ailments like diabetes, hypertension are not as common in young children as in adults, and children have good immunity.
