Aurangabad, Oct 15:The office of The Jain International School Principal was ransacked by the members of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Thursday over denying online education to children whose parents have not paid fee.School principal Santosh Kumar said that the school management lodged a complaint with Satara Police Station against ransackers. He said that two MNS activists entered the premises of school near Shahnoor Miyan Dargah as parents.“They raised slogans and ransacked the office of the principal. One of them was shooting the incident on mobile. Before they could leave the premises, journalists of electronics media too reached there. This speaks of planned ransacking. I was frightened. If such type of incidents is taking in my office, parents will fear to send their children to the school,” he said. Santosh Kumar said that parents showed their support to me while schools management condemned it.“Female teachers told me that all school teachers too were frightened over the incident,” he said.The school administration decided not to conduct classes on October 16. The activists entered the principal’s office at 1.30 pm on the pretext of seeking admission information. They talked about purchasing stationery and fee.They suddenly received a phone call and started raising slogans of the party.The MNS members ransacked furniture and other items and left.The video indicates ransacking was done over denial of online link.Condemning the incident, president of Maharashtra English Schools Association Prahlad Shinde said that this the fifth such incident in the current year. MESA has given a call for online education bandh on October 16. President of Maharashtra English School Trustees Association Sanjayrao Tayde Patil said that online classes would not be restarted until the ransackers are arrested and action is taken against them.The Public Health Department will conduct examinations at The Jain International School between 11 am to 1 pm for the 102 posts of community health officer (CHO) on October 16. Around 685 doctors will appear for the test. Assistant Director of Health Department Dr Gowardhan Gaikwad said that the examination would be held as per the schedule.
