Washington, Jan 14 US President Donald Trump called on the Americans not to engage in violence next week, in which the inauguration ceremony will be held for President-elect Joe Biden."In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind. That is not what I stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You," the president said in a statement released by the Office of the White House Press Secretary on Wednesday, Xinhua news agency reported.Trump's statement came on the same day as the Democratic-controlled House is poised to impeach him for a second time during his presidency.
