100 km cycling, 26 km running to celebrate Republic Day

Aurangabad, Jan 31:

Cyclist and runner Satish Anwekar constructively celebrated the 72nd Republic Day. He greeted the tricolour with 100 km cycling and 26 km running. Anwekar started cycling from Vandemataram hall at 6 am. Saluting the tricolour at Daulatabad fort, he again reached Vandemataram hall and completed the distance of 36 km. Later he passed through the university, Chawni, Nandanvan colony, Begampura, Kilearc in 6.55 hours and completed the cycling. He also ran 26 km in Himayatbagh area to complete the mission. Shikra Sports organized the run. President of Ganesh Mahasangh Prithviraj Pawar, Charanjitsingh Sangha, Aditya Ghuge, Prakash Bagul, Pranay Ingle, Dr Makrand Joshi, Ganesh Gundewar and others have congratulated him.
