100 pc attendance of teaching, non-teaching staff mandatory in colleges

>Aurangabad, Sept 28:
The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) has made 100 percent attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff members mandatory in the senior colleges for the examinations work.
It may be noted that only 30 per cent non-teaching staff was called on duty until September 18 while teachers were doing work from home as per the guidelines issued by the State Government to contain the spread of Novel coronvarius.
The University Grants Commission and the State Government directed all the universities and colleges to conduct the final semester examinations. BAMU decided to give the examinations from October 1 to 15.
There is a need for workforce on a large scale to hold the examination by following all measures, including social distance.
The university has issued a letter to all the college principals recently asking them to ensure 100 pc attendance of teachers and employees for the examination work. Those colleges which don’t require much staff can take online attendance of teachers.
