131st anniversary of Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan celebrated

Aurangabad, Feb 6:

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Mohalla Library today has celebrated the 131st birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan in Baijipura. The library has been started for school-going kids to develop reading habits amongst them since the tender age.

Mohamadiya Urdu School's (Garkheda) Shaista Nazneen guided the little members of the library on occasion. Read and Lead Foundation's president Mirza Abdul Qayyum Nadvi highlighted the contribution made by Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan in India's freedom struggle and his relations with the Mahatma Gandhi. The library in charge Mirza Mariyam Jamila also spoke on occasion. Mirza Abul Hasan Ali conducted the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
