17 teachers awarded with district teachers award

Aurangabad, June 18:

In all, 17 teachers of Zilla Parishad (ZP) schools were honored with Adarsh award in a ceremony here on Friday.

A ceremony was held at Tapdia Natya Mandir on Friday to honor 17 teachers who were honored with the district teacher award for 2020-21, as well as 57 teachers who imparted education to the students through creative activities during the corona period. ZP president Meena Shelke, chief executive officer Dr Mangesh Gondawale, education department chairperson Avinash Galande, construction department chairman Kishor Balande, women and child welfare chairman Anuradha Chavan, education officer Dr B B Chavan, Ramukaka Shelke, Pushpa Kale, Madhukar Walture and others were present.

Awardee teachers:

Primary teachers: Yogita More (Shendraban), Manojkumar Sonwane (Sudamwadi), Ashok Patil (Tarupimpalgaon), Bhikan Vanarse (Andhaner), Abaji Sonawane (Nevargaon), Sunil Wankhede (Ghatshendra), Vaishali Jadhav (Babhulgaon Tarte), Ashok Vighne (Palasgaon), Umesh Mahalpure (Banoti).

Secondary teachers: Faheem Mohammad (Khandoba), Manisha Kumawat (Khandala), Ashok Vasave (Chikalthan), Shivkumar Jaiswal (Waluj), Baban Sonawane (Shivna), Shailja Naikwade (Ganori), Dattatraya Jadhav ( Kasabkheda), Special Teacher Kalyan Sonawane (Phulambri) was felicitated by the dignitaries.
