2 arrested for using forged registration number motorcycle

Aurangabad, May 13:

The city police during the Nakabandi arrested two persons for using forged registration number on the motorcycles to evade the fine.

Vedantnagar police station PSI Rahul Bhadarge and his team had imposed Nakabandi at Mahavir Chowk on May 12, afternoon. He stopped a Akshay Purushottam Khandare on a motorcycle (MH 20 AD 4792). When the number was put on the verification machine, it was found that the number was fake. When asked about it to Akshay, he started bluffing the police. When the police used strict means, he confessed that the number of forged. A case was registered in this regard at the Kranti Chowk police station.

In another incident, traffic cell constable Raju Pachrake on May 12 at around 11 am stopped Sachin Siddharth Salve. During interrogation, it was found that the number on his motorcycle was forged. A case has been registered against Sachin in this regard.
