210 police personnel patrolling the city day and night

Around 210 police officers and staff are patrolling the city in 113 vehicles day and night to stop burglary and vehicle thefts. If any vehicle on patrol stands in one place for more than 10 minutes without any reason, the police are asked for the reason for stopping from the control room. This has improved patroling in recent times.

Last year, there were 149 burglaries in the city, while 583 vehicles were stolen. Against this background, the commissioner of police gave clear instructions to the police that no patrolling vehicle should stand in one place for more than ten minutes without any reason. Twelve out of 17 police stations in the city are patrolling in two and one mobile vehicles, while five police stations are patrolling in three mobile vans. In addition, 84 beat marshal from 42 motorcycles and 54 police personnel from 9 PCR cars of the police control room are on patrol day and night. Despite this, burglary and burglary have not decreased in the city.
