ADCCB elections likely to witness political twists

Aurangabad, Jan 20:

The process of conducting Aurangabad District Central Co-operative Bank (ADCCB) election has started, therefore, I hope to unite with others by setting aside the party-affiliations, said the veteran director and former assembly speaker Harbhau Bagade.

The last meeting of all board of directors (BoD) was held today. While speaking to media persons after the meeting, Bagade said, " We have to maintain the legacy of the late Suresh Patil. Hence, we had to work by taking all of them together. We are trying our best to get elect unopposed. There are four main parties, and we will speak to their leaders. We will try to get elected maximum candidates as unopposed, at this election."

ADCCB had disbursed loans of Rs 550 crore. This amount is more than the target. Hence the bank will be earning a good profit this year, he said.

Meanwhile, the sitting bank chairman Nitin Patil said, " I will speak to all in connection with the election of candidates as unopposed during the bank's election. Let us see what happens."
