AMC detects 31 COVID patients in city

Aurangabad, Feb 11:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 222 antigen and 863 RT-PCR tests (total 1085 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 31 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 45 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected three persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 304 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 126 antigen tests and detected 22 infected persons. It also collected swab collection of 522 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted five RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 32 on Thursday. The private laboratories also conducted 51 antigen tests and found six infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
