AMC to administer second dose of vaccine through five centres

Aurangabad, July 15:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) will administer the first dose and the second dose of the Covishield vaccine for desirous citizens through a limited number of vaccination centres on Friday.

The AMC will administer the second dose of vaccine at five centres. The registration will be done on the spot and each centre will administer 200 vaccines only. Meanwhile, the arrangement of the first dose of vaccine has also been arranged for the citizens of age 18 years and above at two centres. However, it is mandatory for these young aspirants to have appointments. Each centre will administer 150 vaccines. To register names on Cowin App, the citizens can book their

appointment slot between 9 am and 10 am.

Second Dose (Covishield)

Jawahar Colony Health Centre, Cidco N-8 Health Centre, Cidco N-11 Health Centre, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Health Centre (Pundaliknagar) and Bansilalnagar Health Centre.

First Dose (Covishield)

Sadatnagar Health Centre and Chetnanagar Health Centre.

Drive-in Vaccination Centre

The vehicle owners can also visit Prozone Mall. The citizens of age 18 years and above can take their second dose of Covishield at this centre. The AMC will administer vaccines to 300 persons.

The citizens may contact the AMC's Covid Helpline 8956306007 for details or any queries. The vaccine will be administered at all the centres from 10 am to 4 pm. The municipal officer of health (MoH) Dr Neeta Padalkar has appealed to the citizens to strictly adhere to Covid-19 guidelines. Use mask, sanitiser and maintain social distance at the centre. The other age group citizens do not rush at any centre for the first dose of the vaccine, she said.
