Bamu to admit students on vacant PG seats up to March 8

Aurangabad, March 3:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) decided to give admissions on postgraduate courses vacant seats in city and Osmanabad campuses up to March 8.

There are 42 departments in the city campus and ten at Osmanabad sub-centre. The admission process for PG courses was carried in December and January.

There are vacant seats in some department even after first, second and spot admissions rounds.

The department heads requested the admission to permit to admit students on vacant seats. The PG Department issued a circular on Tuesday for the admissions.

Deputy registrar Dr Digamber Netke said that students can take admission on vacant seats up to March 8 on the basis of laid down conditions. The condition included admission based on merit,

first preference will be given to those who have made online registration.

The registration fee is Rs 200 for general (Rs 100 for reserved) category candidates. The classes already began in the departments while candidates can apply for the scholarship up to March 31.
