Bharat Bandh: Leftists, DF demands Centre to cancel anti-farmers, anti-workers bills

Responding to the nationwide call of Bharat Bandh, the leftists and Democratic Front parties have staged demonstrations, to register protest against anti-farmer and anti-workers bills passed by the Central Government, in front of the district collectorate, today.

Satyashodhak Vidyarthi Sanghatna has also participated in the agitation. The delegation submitted a memorandum to the district collector Sunil Chavan. The agitators urged to scrap anti-farmers and anti-workers bills, stop privatisation of the public sector etc. Comrades Ram Baheti and Abhay Taksal led the agitation.

Kisan Mahasabha and Zilla Lal Bavta Shetmazoor Kamgar union also staged demonstration as a part of bandh at Sathenagar in Waluj. Comrades Nandkishore Kabra, Shantaram Phandade, Shaikh Saleem, Suresh Raut, Syed Feroz, Nasheer Bano Shah, Shaikh Mujjawar and others took part in the agitation.
