BJP leaders Karad, Bagade, Save booked for agitation

Aurangabad, May 6:

BJP Office-bearers were booked with Vedantnagar Police Station on Thursday afternoon for staging agitation against West Bengal violence incident without taking permission.

Incidents of violence were reported in West Bengal after the Assembly elections.

BJP leaders alleged that BJP office-bearers and supporters became victims of violence.

BJP city unit president Sanjay Kenekar, MP Bhagwat Karad, MLAs Haribhau Bagade and Atul Save, former chairman of Women’s Commission Vijaya Rahatkar, Bapu Ghadamode, Pramod Rathod, Bhavrao Deshmukh, Rajesh Mehta, Shaikh Habeeb, Dhananjay Palodkar, Savita Kulkarni and others staged a demonstration near its party officer at 5 pm today by flouting COVID norms and prohibitory orders.

The agitators were booked with Vedantnagar Police Station today for agitating without permission.

Motilal Gaikwad registered a complaint with the police station. PSI Rahul Bhadarge, under the guidance of Police inspector Rameshwar Rodge is investigating the case.
